We invite you to participate in a single full-day event at SpotX headquarters in Broomfield, CO. The hackathon theme is “Sustaining our Communities” and will focus on environmental, social and infrastructural factors that contribute to sustainability in Colorado. This competition is open to all skill levels, ages 18 and older, and welcomes anyone interested in having fun with coding!
Participation: Teams are recommended to be 4-5 people. You may sign up as a team or as an individual-- individuals will be placed on a team. You’ll have 4 hours to create your project. This event is BYOC - Bring Your Own Computer. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not have one.
Prompt: Your project must focus on providing a solution for sustaining the local community. This could involve creating something for a local business, solving a problem for a public works project, addressing concerns in the local environment, etc.
Judging: This is a competition! Your team and project will be judged on the following criteria:
Saturday, Oct 6th
9:00 -10:00 - Arrivals, registration, breakfast, meet and greet
10:00 - 3:00 - Coding! (With working lunch)
3:00 - 4:30 - Judging & Prizes & Cocktail Hour
